Employee Spotlight: Meet Krista Hunsberger, RN!

For over 16 years, Krista Hunsberger has been a pillar of dedication and excellence as a nightshift supervisor at Oak Pointe. Her unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care has made a lasting impact on both residents and staff alike. Known for her dependability and attention to detail, Krista ensures that every resident receives the highest level of care, no matter what challenges the night may bring.



Her coworkers have nothing but praise for her, describing her as thorough, compassionate, and devoted to her job. One colleague shared, “Krista is dependable and thorough—you can always count on top-notch care when she’s your nurse!” Another described her as “a soft-spoken, kind soul who truly loves her residents.” It’s clear that Krista takes immense pride in her work, always striving for accuracy and excellence in everything she does. “She is going to make sure she is doing things accurately at all times,” another team member added, emphasizing her meticulous nature and dedication to doing things the right way.

Outside of work, Krista enjoys spending time with her billiards league, where she sharpens her skills and enjoys a bit of friendly competition. She is also a fan of attending the Deerassic Classic, a favorite annual event she looks forward to. But perhaps one of her biggest joys is being a furever mom to Murphy, her beloved cat who keeps her company after long shifts.
